Radiant Gem Jewelry

I am an artisan who makes hand beaded jewelry comprised of my own hand made glass beads,regular and silver clay, semi-precious stones and a variety of other beads.I started making my own glass beads in 2001 and have been adding all kinds of mediums to my jewelry making since then. I live in northern New York along the St. Lawrence River and the beauty of this area has definitely influenced my artistic style.I enjoy bright colors of the sun, river, sky and earth in my beads and jewelry.

Myself

I recently joined the NNY Art trail and had to describe my surroundings, studio. Last years photo but this is my studio, I call it a river cabin, size wise a small gingerbread house . Not fancy, needs repairs big time, but I love it. It's been a part of me for 50 years, so it is hard to give up. Maybe this year I can work on getting a new door, below is some new pics of my work submitted.

Looking forward to 2016

2016 is barely here and I can't wait to get busy with clay, soap, gardens and the beautiful St Lawrence River. All in good time I guess, my studio is still full of many lovely fresh smelling soap items from this past fall. Many clay leaf bowls are still available. Fall and seasonal soaps aplenty, Pumpkin, cranberry and a fresh Noel and Noel's tree. I heated the studio until a week ago and I am already thinking of putting the heat back on and getting going on glass leaves or more glass buttons. I can't wait for the spring Rhubarb to pop out of the ground, new bowls of clay will be drying promptly.
