In a Jam

I forgot all the time at the stove. Sweet Adeliners, yes you are going to get the Apple Butter again this year. Hope thats OK, I have peeled and cooked 3 big double bags of apples and cidar for weeks, and is it good. It smecks.

Beauty of the blossem

Spring is still trying at my office, this is my Hibiscus tree that I took home this spring. I cut it back and feed it plant food all summer and let mother nature water it out side. Which she did everyday if you remember. I brought it back to my office just before our first frost and it hasn't stopped blosseming since. It has had 4-6 a week and my customers have just loved it. Especially the week of snow, spring was just a red flower away in my lobby. It will go a little longer and then once the lack of sun shows in November and December, it will die down a bit and I will have to let it rest and then start the water and plant food again early next year. Something to look forward too.

Fall bead harvest is finally here.

Hey teacher I finally did it. My kiln arrived and I have done 2 bisque and 2 glaze firings. All successful and beautiful. If you remember the top toggle, I showed it undone earlier in the summer. I will post quite a few on my jewelry gallery blog, anyone interested can e-mail me. I did alot in it this weekend but can't show it all because most are gifts for my Sweet Adeliners. I finally understand the glaze firing, it is so difficult to get everything just right in the kiln and have all the furnature, wire and the biggy ROOM. It was fun, I have tons more to do another day.

Fall what? Winters too soon!

This is the road I take on the way to work. What a difference between my house with no snow and here a half mile up the road. Thank goodness mother nature is back to fall for this week with around 50 degree weather.
